Andy and Billy were skinny-dippin in the crick when a water moccasin bit Andy right on his pecker.
When Andy stopped screamin' and got out on the bank, he told Billy, "You high-tail it back through the woods to town and fetch Doc Wilson. I'll wait here 'cause iffin I hike the two miles, the venom'll git to ma heart an' kill me."
Billy ran into Doc's office and said, "Andy got bit by a Copperhead an' you gotta come!"
Doc Wilson was in the middle of delivering a baby so he instead gave Billy a razorblade and instructed him on how use it. He told Billy that he was to cut an "X" through each of the fang punctures and then suck out the venom.
When Andy saw that Billy had returned alone, he asked, "What'd Doc say?" Billy answered, "Doc said y'all gonna die."
